Since Hurricane Harvey hit the southeastern coast of Texas on August 25, 2017. As the reports of flooding rushed in, families were forced to evacuate their homes, concerned onlookers from all over the country began to pour out their support. Our founder and many in the community rallied donated supplies and began to deliver them to the impacted areas. Over the next ninety days the team would transport more than $275,000 of goods to children in families in Corpus Christ, Houston, Beaumont and surrounding areas. Overwhelmed by the compassion and generosity of so many, the foundation of Grace Hub, Inc. began to form, focused on responding to children and families in crisis not only during a time of natural disaster but those impacted by poverty and trauma. Just as Hurricane Harvey called us to formation, Hurricane Laura & COVID-19 called us to the honor of our new primary service area, Port Arthur, Texas. As a native son of Port Arthur it is life giving to be blessed to serve the citizens of our dear city. This website will allow for all to enter Love’s Front Door. The space where every citizen will receive unmerited favor by something as simple as a free offering of food, possibly a wonderful dwellings place or by obtaining skills needed to create a sustainable life.
